Alternatively, have you successfully completed an accredited Surgical First Assistant Program? Join a dynamic team across five Arizona clinic locations, including Kingman, Cottonwood, Williams, Flagstaff, and Winslow. This medical group is home to 21 providers, including 9 physicians who are all Board Certified and fellowship trained, six PA’s, and one NP. Our center boasts integrated ancillary services for patient convenience, encompassing digital x-ray, ultrasound, custom bracing, durable medical equipment, EMG/nerve conduction studies, and occupational and physical therapy.
Your role is vital as you work closely with our Spine Surgeon, known for his expertise in handling advanced and challenging spine cases. He requires a proficient PA to assist in intricate surgeries. You will be at the forefront of complex spine procedures in both the operating room and clinic settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough histories and physical examinations (H&Ps)
- Evaluating and educating patients with the utmost care
- Administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, reviewing results
- Assisting as a crucial first assistant in surgeries
- Dispensing appropriate prescriptions
- Participating in patient rounds and discharges from the inpatient hospital
