Are you a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a strong emphasis on Surgical First Assisting? Alternatively, have you successfully completed an accredited Surgical First Assistant Program? With a population of approximately 60,000 residents, our city serves as a hub for various small, surrounding communities. Located just two hours north of Phoenix, our location is ideal for those seeking diverse experiences.

The Practice:

Join a dynamic team across five Arizona clinic locations, including Kingman, Cottonwood, Williams, Flagstaff, and Winslow. This medical group is home to 21 providers, including 9 physicians who are all Board Certified and fellowship trained, six PA’s, and one NP. Our center boasts integrated ancillary services for patient convenience, encompassing digital x-ray, ultrasound, custom bracing, durable medical equipment, EMG/nerve conduction studies, and occupational and physical therapy.

The Position:

Your role is vital as you work closely with our Spine Surgeon, known for his expertise in handling advanced and challenging spine cases. He requires a proficient PA to assist in intricate surgeries. You will be at the forefront of complex spine procedures in both the operating room and clinic settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough histories and physical examinations (H&Ps)
  • Evaluating and educating patients with the utmost care
  • Administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, reviewing results
  • Assisting as a crucial first assistant in surgeries
  • Dispensing appropriate prescriptions
  • Participating in patient rounds and discharges from the inpatient hospital
