Opportunity Healthcare, a leading locums and placement firm, is at the forefront of “Connecting the Best in Healthcare.” We are currently facilitating the search for a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to help a compassionate healthcare facility North of Boston, MA. 

Your New Role: 

Position: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) 

Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent 

Setting: Outpatient only, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 


36 clinical hours, 4 administrative hours per week 

Typical Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 


At least 1 year experience required 

Patient Population: 

Low income, underinsured, uninsured, publicly housed, and homeless populations in North Central Massachusetts

Starting salary: $111,800 annually ($53.75/hour) 

Mid-range salary: $137,540 annually ($66.13/hour) 

RVU-based production or quality incentives 

Sign-on bonus: typically $5,000 

Relocation assistance provided

Work alongside another Cardiac NP and numerous family medicine providers (2 MDs, 4 NP/PAs, MAs, and RNs)

In this Role: 

As a Cardiology NP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with another Cardiac NP and a team of family medicine providers to deliver comprehensive cardiac care. The role involves diagnosing and managing cardiac conditions, implementing treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. This is a brand-new position aimed at expanding the cardiology services within the FQHC, offering a unique opportunity to shape and develop the cardiology program. There are no on-call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will also use the EPIC EMR system for patient records and documentation.
