Opportunity Healthcare, a leading locums and placement firm, is at the forefront of “Connecting the Best in Healthcare.” We are currently facilitating the search for a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to help a compassionate healthcare facility near Washington County, ME. 

Your New Role: 

• Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) 

• Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent 

• Schedule: Full-time hours, Emergency room open 24 hours 

• Experience: 

  • Active unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse and CRNA in the State of Maine 
  • Current verification in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support 
  • Minimum of Master of Science degree in Nurse Anesthesia, doctorate preferred 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to function independently 

• Patient Population: All ages requiring anesthesia care in a variety of surgical and medical settings

In this Role: 

As a CRNA at our facility in Washington County, ME, you will provide the full spectrum of anesthesia care based on patient needs, working closely with the operative surgeon to ensure patient safety before, during, and after the anesthetic. You will act as a patient advocate and remain responsible for the patient throughout the perioperative period, functioning within the scope and standards of care established by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and in accordance with state regulations. This role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and the Chief of Surgery, and involves providing care in a hospital committed to quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
