Opportunity Healthcare, a leading locums and placement firm, is at the forefront of “Connecting the Best in Healthcare.” We are currently facilitating the search for a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to help a compassionate healthcare facility in Unalaska, AK. 

Your New Role: 

Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) 

Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent 

Setting: Community Health Center 

Schedule: Full time; participate in on-call rotation to provide urgent care and emergency response services 24/7 

Experience: MUST have experience, no new graduates 

Patient Population: All ages, serving the community of Unalaska, the Port of Dutch Harbor, and the fishing fleet of the Bering Sea

In this Role: 

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Unalaska, AK, you will provide essential medical services to a diverse community, including the residents of Unalaska, the Port of Dutch Harbor, and the Bering Sea fishing fleet. You will be responsible for delivering primary care and acute care services, coordinating further treatment for clients, and participating in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 urgent care and emergency response services. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will work closely with medical practitioners, support staff, behavioral health clinicians, and administration. Your primary customer groups will include patients and their families, community agencies, and local employers.
