Opportunity Healthcare, a leading locums and placement firm, is at the forefront of “Connecting the Best in Healthcare.” We are currently facilitating the search for a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to help a compassionate healthcare facility near New London County, CT. 

Your New Role: 

Position: Family Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) 

Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent 

Schedule: Primarily daytime schedule, some evenings (8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday) / one Saturday per month (4-hour shift, stipend) 

Experience: New graduates considered only if local; experience in providing a broad range of clinical primary care services preferred 

Patient Population: All ages, including routine and appropriate ambulatory adult, pediatric, and gynecological care

In this Role: 

As a Family Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at our facility in New London County, CT, you will deliver a broad range of primary care services to patients of all ages. Your responsibilities will include performing office diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections. You will instruct and counsel patients on compliance with therapeutic regimens, family planning, emotional problems, and health maintenance. Additionally, you will develop and implement patient management plans, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data.
